Private AI
on iPhone.

A simple explanation of what Pebble Mind does, what stays on your device, and how to start.

Most AI apps begin by asking you to create an account. Pebble Mind starts with a different idea: if you want to try AI with personal notes, questions, photos, or documents, you should be able to keep the main conversation on your own device.

What “local” means here

Pebble Mind is a free iPhone and iPad app for chatting with supported Apple and GGUF models locally. You can open the app, choose a model, download it to your device, and start a conversation. No account or API key is required.

When you use a supported local model, the AI conversation runs on the device. Chats, prompts, responses, attachments, downloaded models, and preferences are stored locally according to the app’s privacy description.

Web search is different. It is optional. When you turn it on, your search query is sent to the configured search service so the app can retrieve current information and show sources. You decide whether to use that feature.

Three easy ways to start

The model library shows useful details before download, including model size, availability, and device-fit information. You do not have to understand AI engineering to begin. Pick a model, let it prepare, and ask a small question first.

What Pebble Mind is—and is not

Pebble Mind is a first version focused on a private local chat workflow for Apple devices. Large models can use significant storage, memory, battery, and heat. AI responses can also be inaccurate, so check important information independently.

The goal is straightforward: give people more control over where their AI conversations happen, without requiring a hosted AI account for the local workflow.
